Do you ever wonder how God choose your Mom to be your Mother? Was it because He planned for you to have similar features like eye color or hair color? Did he know that she would be able to handle all your emotional ups and down? Or was it because she always wanted a baby girl? Well, I believe that all of this is true in my life.
My Mom, from the time she was a little girl asked God to make her baby doll "real." On December 22, 1965 God gave my Mom a baby girl. I am so glad he brought us together. My Mom is one of the most special people in the world! She is talented in many ways. She is a wonderful wife to my Dad of 56 years. She is a great home maker and she loves to share the gift of hospitality with friends and family. She is a wonderful teacher and a great friend.
If the internet had been invented when my Mom was younger I am certain she would have been a blogger. She is a great story teller. I love to listen to my Mom read because she can bring each character to life with its own voice. My Mom taught me about Jesus, which is the best gift she has ever given me. She has shown me how to love and accept others because of her love for God. She ministers to others with gentleness and compassion. My Mom has always been my biggest cheerleader and greatest fan. She taught me how to have courage and to pray during the toughest times of my life. She is a true prayer warrior for my family and many others. She helped me to discover what incredible beauty is from the inside out. She is part of the reason why I am so passionate about helping women to discover that they are beautifully created designer originals.
She continues to display love to me, my three brothers, and my Dad. Mom, I love you more than you'll ever know. I am grateful that God choose you to be my Mom. You are truly a blessing!
Lynnae,
That is beautiful and I know your Mom loves hearing it. As a Mom you and I both know how precious it is when your kids say they love you.
Thanks Terri! I appreciate your comment. Please share my website with your friends. Let them know that I would love to serve them.
I come from a family of strong, faithful matriarchs! What a blessing!!! It's good to know I in good company.
First of all I want to say terrific blog! I had a quick question which I’d like to ask if you do not mind.
I was interested to find out how you center yourself and clear your head before writing.
I’ve had trouble clearing my thoughts in getting my thoughts out.
I truly do take pleasure in writing but it just seems like the first 10 to
15 minutes tend to be wasted just trying to figure out how to
begin. Any suggestions or hints? Thank you!
I think its a matter of sharing what is most important to you and being positive toward your readers.
